1. Overview

Welcome to Director’s Assistant! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent, guardian, or school administrator to place an order. By using our site, you confirm that you are authorized to do so on behalf of yourself or your organization.

3. Orders and Payment

a. Placing Orders

We provide school uniforms, formalwear, and performance accessories for bands, choirs, and orchestras. Orders may be placed by individuals, school districts, or organizations.

b. Payment

We accept major credit/debit cards and secure third-party payment processors (e.g., Shopify Payments, PayPal). Full payment must be received before items ship, unless otherwise arranged.

c. Purchase Orders

School districts may submit official purchase orders (POs) for processing. Payment terms are typically net 30 unless otherwise negotiated.

4. Shipping and Fulfillment

  • In-stock items ship within 3 business days.

  • Custom-designed products (e.g., marching show tops) ship within approximately 6–8 weeks.

  • Shipping providers: UPS and FedEx. We do not ship via USPS.

  • Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, custom production, or holidays.

5. Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns for standard products within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original condition.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom or personalized products

  • Worn or altered garments

  • Clearance or final sale items

If you need a size exchange or have a fit concern, please contact us. We will do our best to assist you.

6. Student Sizing and Group Orders

For group orders (schools, bands, etc.), sizing data may be submitted on behalf of students. Director’s Assistant is not responsible for sizing errors submitted incorrectly.

We offer tools, guidance, and personalized support to help directors size efficiently — including automated bell curve projections and EZ Hem™ instructions to reduce classroom time.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including product designs, sizing tools, the EZ Hem™ system, and trademarks — is the property of Director’s Assistant, LLC and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to ensure product accuracy, fast shipping, and responsive service. However, we are not liable for:

  • Delays beyond our control (e.g., shipping disruptions, acts of God)

  • Improper use of garments or tools

  • Data entry errors made by third-party users (e.g., sizing forms submitted by school personnel)

Our total liability for any claim related to your use of the site shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once posted to the website. Continued use of the site indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
