1. General Shipping Information
Director’s Assistant proudly serves customers across the United States. We ship uniforms, accessories, and custom-designed items with care and attention to accuracy and speed. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
2. Shipping Carriers
We ship exclusively through UPS and FedEx to ensure reliable, trackable delivery.
We do not ship through USPS due to reliability concerns.
3. Shipping Timeframes
Shipping timelines vary based on the type of product:
a. In-Stock Items

Typically ship within 3 business days of order confirmation.

Includes standard tuxedos, dresses, shoes, gloves, and accessories.
b. Drop-Ship Items

Sent directly from our manufacturer partners.

Typically ship within 3–5 business days.

Tracking numbers are provided once available.
c. Custom-Made Items

Includes custom marching show tops, fabricated props, and made-to-order garments.

These items require design, approval, and production.

Estimated delivery: 6–8 weeks from final design approval or PO receipt.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated based on:

Order size and weight

Shipping destination
-
Service level requested (Ground, 2-Day, Overnight, etc.)
Expedited shipping options are available upon request. If you require a rush delivery, please contact us before placing your order.
5. Freight & Oversized Deliveries
Some large or fabricated items (props, carts, or staging equipment) may require freight shipping.
In these cases:

Quotes will be provided separately.

Delivery locations must accommodate a freight truck.

Access to a high dock or forklift may be required.
Please notify us of any delivery restrictions at the time of order.
6. Backorders and Delays
If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you immediately with options to:

Substitute

Wait for restock

Cancel the item
While we strive to meet all estimated delivery windows, Director’s Assistant is not responsible for carrier delays or disruptions due to weather, holidays, or unforeseen events.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You may also request updates at any time by emailing sales@directorsassistant.com or calling (972) 807-6000.
8. Incorrect Addresses & Re-Deliveries
Please ensure all shipping details are accurate at the time of checkout or PO submission.
Director’s Assistant is not responsible for:

Delays due to incorrect addresses

Additional charges for returned or re-routed packages
9. International Shipping
At this time, Director’s Assistant only ships within the continental United States. If you are outside the U.S. and interested in ordering, please contact us directly.
